BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: Stop chasing your pipeline dream. Oddly such a negative message made it clearer to go against the odds and persevere towards my dream. At the time I felt I had to prove myself that this just wasn’t a pipeline dream and it could be reality. I never looked back.
BEST ADVICE FOR YOUNGER MUSICIANS: Keep going! You will be discouraged and people will try to beat you down. I saw so many people give up. As AC/DC says “it’s a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll”. If you want to be a rockstar like I wanted to be when I first started at 15, you need to believe in yourself and don’t give up.
